Common Questions
How accurate is the color match?
Our professional color sensor captures precise RGB and color values which are then matched to Dulux's extensive color database. The match is extremely accurate for standard paint colors. We guarantee professional results with our 5-year workmanship guarantee.
What if I'm not happy with the match?
If the matched color isn't what you expected when painted, we'll work with you to adjust it. We're committed to your satisfaction and our 5-year guarantee covers all workmanship.
Can you match colors from photos?
While photos help us prepare, we need to physically visit to scan the actual item with our color sensor. Photos can vary wildly due to lighting, screens, and camera settings. Our in-person color sensor reading is the only way to guarantee accuracy.
Do I have to book painting with you?
No! You can use our color matching service independently for £75. However, if you do book painting with us, we'll refund the entire £75 service fee. We provide you with the formula either way, so you can re-order the paint anytime.
How long does the process take?
The home visit takes about 20-30 minutes. We'll have your custom paint formula created within 24-48 hours and can order the paint ready for your scheduled painting date. Full painting can start as soon as the custom paint arrives.
What if the item is too large to bring outside?
That's why we come to you! Our portable color sensor works on any fixed item - walls, cabinets, furniture, tiles. We scan it exactly where it is.
Do you provide a sample before painting?
We don't provide sample pots, but we do provide you with the exact color formula details. Once we create your custom color match and you approve proceeding with the painting, we'll order the exact paint needed for your job.
